The beach café ‘s offer excellent fresh food, beer and wine s for very reasonable prices and only 10 minutes walk away from the villa. The sea is almost landlocked forming Europes largest lagoon and is revered for its health-giving properties, and the town still has thermal baths existing since Roman times. Don't be surprised to see people walking along the beach covered in black gunge! |

A fine selection of bars, restaurants, shops, bakeries and a good supermarket are close by. The Saturday market held on the Avenida de la Constitucion is just a five minute walk from the villa. Everything you could hope for in a local market, it's all there! |

Cartegena is a deep natural sea port on which the town has been built, founded by the Carthaginians in 221 BC. It boasts to having a Roman theatre and a number of archaeological museums, and is the second most important city in the region. 20 min drive from the villa. |

Murcia is the capital of the province and was founded in 831 AD by the Moors. Historically interesting Romans, Greeks , Phoenicians “visited” the area. The cathedral in Murcia is a must. |

The seaside town of Mazarron is worth a visit . Attractive promenade, marina and beaches. WW2 gun emplacements on high ground are of interest. 35 minute drive from the villa. |
